San Francisco Opera announces their 2012-2013 season


The 2012-13 San Francisco Opera season has just been announced. Angela Gheorghiu, Patricia Racette, Joyce Didonato, Ben Heppner, Natalie Dessay and Brand Jovanovich headline the season.

I Capuleti e i Montecchi. Nicole Cabell and Joyce DiDonato. Conducted by Riccardo Frizza. Directed by Vincent Boussard.
Moby-Dick. Music by Jake Heggie, Libretto by Gene Scheer. Stephen Costello, Ben Heppner, Jay Hunter Morris, Morgan Smith, and Jonathan Lemalu. Conducted by Patrick Summers. Directed by Leonard Foglia.
Lohengrin. Brandon Jovanovich, Camilla Nylund, Petra Lang, Gerd Grochowski, and Kristinn Sigmundsson. Conducted by Nicola LuisottiDirected by Daniel Slater.
